A Spotlight on Rondo by Inbani

Rondo, the latest wall-hung WC by Inbani, exemplifies the brand’s commitment to refined simplicity, contemporary craftsmanship, and seamless integration within modern bathroom design. With its balanced proportions and elegant geometry, Rondo by Inbani combines visual lightness with powerful performance—an ideal choice for architects and designers seeking aesthetic and functional harmony in every detail.

Advanced Design Meets Precision Engineering

At the heart of Rondo’s innovation is its vortex flushing system, a feature designed for both efficiency and cleanliness. Unlike traditional flushing methods that rely on direct or dual jets, a vortex system creates a swirling, circular flow of water that coats the entire bowl evenly. This dynamic movement ensures more effective cleaning with less water usage, minimizing splashing and leaving the bowl spotless after each use.

This technology is especially important for wall-hung toilets, which rely on compact concealed tanks and efficient hydraulic systems. A vortex flush maximizes flushing power without requiring high water volume, maintaining both eco-efficiency and quiet operation—two essential qualities for luxury bathroom environments.

Pair your Rondo by Inbani wall-hung toilet with an elegant and modern flush plate.  Depending on the carrier you install, there are many options available to match your plumbing fixtures or bathroom aesthic.

The Allure of Wall-Hung Toilets

Wall-hung toilets like Rondo have become a favorite among designers and homeowners alike for their space-saving functionality and architectural elegance. By concealing the tank within the wall, they create a floating appearance that adds lightness and visual flow to the bathroom. Beyond aesthetics, this design also makes cleaning easier, as the open floor space below prevents dirt buildup and simplifies maintenance.

In upscale residential and hospitality projects, wall-hung toilets are now considered a hallmark of modern European design, offering the perfect blend of minimalism and innovation.

Matte Finishes and Color Harmony

Rondo is available in four matte finishes from the Inbani color paletteDune, Forest, Matte White & Matte Black. These muted tones reflect current design trends that favor soft, tactile surfaces and natural-inspired hues over traditional glossy white ceramics. The ability to match Rondo’s finish with Inbani’s furniture, basins, and bathtubs allows for visual continuity throughout the bathroom, reinforcing a cohesive, custom-designed aesthetic.

When choosing a tub for your home, there are bathtub materials you should consider as part of your pros, cons, durability and maintenance list.

Bathtub Materials: UHS, Cristalplant & Concrete

These bathtub materials are highlighted, as they are the top performers from the product lines we sell from Inbani and COCOON.

Inbani tubs are manufacturered in solid surface material (white) or you can choose from more than 60 UHS Colors.

View all of Inbani’s UHS colors here >> materials

UHS Color (Ultra-High-Strength Color) refers to a specialized surface treatment or material blend used in manufacturing high-end bathroom fixtures like bathtubs and basins. It is designed to offer superior durability, color retention, and resistance to wear over time.

Why UHS Color Matters for Bathtub Materials:

  1. Enhanced Durability – UHS Color coatings are highly resistant to scratches, stains, and fading, ensuring a long-lasting pristine look. This is especially important for frequently used fixtures like bathtubs and basins.

  2. Deep & Uniform Color – Unlike standard surface coatings, UHS Color provides a richer, more consistent hue that does not fade or discolor over time, even with prolonged exposure to water, heat, and cleaning agents.

  3. Resistant to Chemicals & UV Exposure – This material prevents yellowing or discoloration caused by harsh cleaning products or natural light exposure, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor bathroom installations.

  4. Smooth, Non-Porous Surface – UHS Color coatings create a sleek, easy-to-clean surface that resists mold, mildew, and soap buildup, contributing to better hygiene and easier maintenance.

  5. Luxurious Matte or Glossy Finish – UHS Color technology allows for premium aesthetic choices, including velvety matte finishes or high-gloss options, giving designers and homeowners more flexibility in creating a refined bathroom look.

UHS  – Why It’s a Game Changer for Bathtubs

Using UHS Color ensures that a bathtub or basin remains visually stunning and structurally intact for years, even in high-humidity environments. It’s a perfect blend of form and function, making it a top choice for luxury and performance-driven bathroom designs.

The solid surface material that COCOON bathtubs uses is called Cristalplant.

Cristalplant is a high-end solid surface material commonly used in luxury bathroom fixtures, particularly bathtubs and basins. It is a composite material made from natural minerals (primarily aluminum trihydrate) and a small percentage of high-performance polyester and acrylic resins. This blend gives it a smooth, stone-like appearance while maintaining exceptional durability.

Cristalplant >> more info

Durability & Benefits of Cristalplant for Bathtubs:

  1. Extremely Durable & Repairable – Cristalplant is highly resistant to scratches, stains, and impact. Unlike ceramic or enameled materials, minor damage (such as small scratches or scuffs) can be repaired with sanding, restoring the original finish.

  2. Soft, Velvety Touch – It has a smooth, matte surface with a natural, stone-like texture that is warm to the touch, enhancing the overall bathing experience.

  3. Non-Porous & Hygienic – The material is non-porous, making it highly resistant to mold, mildew, and bacteria. This ensures easy cleaning and long-term hygiene.

  4. UV & Chemical Resistant – Unlike some other solid surfaces, Cristalplant is resistant to UV exposure and harsh cleaning agents, preventing discoloration and yellowing over time.

  5. Seamless & Sculptural Design – Its moldable nature allows for seamless, modern designs with clean lines and organic shapes, making it a preferred choice for contemporary and minimalist bathrooms.

Is Cristalplant a Good Choice for Bathtub Materials?

Absolutely! Cristalplant bathtubs are highly durable, maintain their beauty for years, and provide a luxurious, spa-like feel. With its repairable surface, long-lasting color, and resistance to everyday wear, it’s an excellent investment for high-end bathroom designs.  See Care & Maintenance

COCOON’s concrete bathtubs are different from other brands.

Read: Handcrafted Concrete Bathtubs by COCOON

1. Proprietary Lightweight Concrete Blend

Unlike traditional concrete tubs, which are extremely heavy and can require reinforced flooring, COCOON uses a specially formulated concrete that is significantly lighter while maintaining durability. This makes installation easier and allows for more design flexibility in various bathroom layouts.

2. Strength & Durability

COCOON’s concrete is reinforced with advanced composites, making it stronger and less prone to cracking compared to standard concrete. Many traditional concrete tubs, if not properly treated, can develop small cracks over time due to natural expansion and contraction. COCOON’s proprietary mix reduces this risk, ensuring long-term durability.

3. Smooth, Natural Finish

One of COCOON’s signature features is the ultra-smooth, handcrafted finish of their concrete. While standard concrete tubs can feel rough or porous, COCOON’s material is treated to be soft to the touch and non-porous, enhancing the bathing experience and preventing issues like staining or water absorption.

4. Minimal Maintenance & Water Resistance

COCOON applies a high-performance sealant to their concrete tubs, making them more resistant to moisture, stains, and discoloration. Traditional concrete tubs often require regular sealing to prevent water absorption, but COCOON’s finish ensures long-lasting protection with minimal upkeep.

5. Eco-Friendly & Sustainable

Their lightweight concrete uses less raw material than traditional concrete, reducing environmental impact. Additionally, COCOON focuses on sustainability by creating long-lasting products that do not require frequent replacement or heavy maintenance.

Why Choose COCOON’s Concrete Tub?

COCOON’s lightweight concrete tubs offer the best of both worlds—the raw, organic beauty of concrete without the excessive weight and maintenance challenges of traditional concrete. Their handcrafted, highly durable finish makes them a luxurious yet practical choice for modern bathrooms.

Finishes Offered: Matte Black + Glossy Chrome

The two finishes that Inbani created for the Code Collection are dominating bathroom fixture trends this year due to their blend of style, durability, and versatility.

Matte Black: Sleek, Modern + Resilient

Here are some of the top reasons why we love the Inbani matte black finish for their bathroom taps:

  • Timeless Aesthetic: Matte black fixtures add a bold, contemporary touch that complements a variety of styles, from minimalistic to industrial and even classic interiors.
  • Fingerprint & Water Spot Resistance: Unlike glossy finishes, matte black hides smudges and water spots better, making maintenance easier.
  • Durability: Many matte black fixtures now feature PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coatings, making them highly resistant to scratches, corrosion, and wear.
  • Versatility: Pairs well with Inbani’s natural materials for their bathroom furniture, including marble, wood, and UHS solid surface, making it a versatile choice for modern bathrooms.

Chrome: Classic, Reflective + Long-Lasting

Along with Matte Black, Inbani also incorporates polished chrome for their second choice of finish in their tapware due to:

  • High Durability: Chrome-plated fixtures have been a long-standing favorite due to their strong resistance to rust and corrosion, especially in humid bathroom environments.
  • Timeless Appeal: The bright, reflective finish gives bathrooms a clean and polished look, working well with both traditional and contemporary designs.
  • Easy Maintenance: Chrome is easy to clean and disinfect, making it a practical option for high-traffic bathrooms.
  • Affordability: Compared to other premium finishes, chrome is often more budget-friendly while still providing a luxurious aesthetic.

With homeowners prioritizing durability and low-maintenance design, both finishes stand out. Matte black offers a bold statement, while chrome ensures longevity and classic appeal. Whether choosing a modern matte black or a timeless chrome finish, both options from Inbani will elevate their bathroom spaces with lasting beauty and performance.

Inbani debuts new wall-mounted bathroom furniture: Grate Round

If you are on the search of a unique piece of furniture to be the main character of your bathroom, we invite you to discover Grate Round.

Designed by Norm Architects, the Grate Collection is one of the most popular for Inbani. With the Grate Round, it redefines bathroom aesthetics through elegance and contrast.  The wall-mounted round cabinet, with integrated basin enhances the sense of lightness and fluidity in the space, where the repetition of lines becomes a subtle interplay of light and shadow.

The Grate Round features delicate wood fluting, inspired by classical architecture.  It creates a rhythmic visual effect that adds depth and texture to the surface. It is available in eight colors of Wild Oak (S3).  It can be paired with an integrated basin in solid surface material, with over 60 UHS colors to choose from. The lacquered tops accentuate the lightness with a fine perimeter gap that defines its sillhouette.

Inbani considers the Grate Collection as more than just bath furniture.  It transcends its function to become a statement piece.  Every detail reflects the precision and aesthetic – designed by Norm Architects.

About Grate Round:

Elegance, sobriety and contrast are the main adjectives that characterize this new collection by Inbani. Designed by Norm Architects, it is a collection with a sculptural silhouette enveloped by its rounded sides. The contrast between the geometric shapes enhances the materiality of the surfaces, focusing on the shapes of this bathroom furniture.

Parallel lines run along the entire body of the pieces, giving three-dimensionality to the surface and enveloping the furniture in a “pleating” that visually creates a sense of lightness. This use of the repetitive line detail generates several prisms on the wood, giving it different tones depending on the visual angle from which the furniture is viewed. Grate Round is available in 8 wooden tones of Wild Oak S3.

The bathroom furniture collection can be combined with tops in Marble, Solidsurface or UHS Colour Lacquer that fit perfectly , leaving a small groove along the silhouette of the furniture that enhances the tops giving it visual lightness and a floating feeling. This new collection is a recall to the decoration of the 50s and 60s. The result is a furniture collection with a retro-contemporary style that plays with the inherent properties of the raw materials. The elegance of marble, the warmth of wood and the versatility of Solidsurface, embodied in an exclusive piece.

Available now at Inbani Beverly Hills, a U.S. Flagship Showroom and distributor of Inbani and the Grate Collection.

About the Grate Collection:

A continuing contrast between light and shadow is a soothing and elegant repetition. The linear rhythm of historical design and classical architecture, implemented in the Grate furniture design.

The Grate system, one of the most popular by Inbani, is entirely mitred – the fronts, with sides and tops. All the fronts in this collection, including the bench bases are fluted with a unique design that cannot be modified. The opening system for drawers and doors is one single handle in Brushed Graphite aluminum. The finishes for the drawer units are made from European natural solid oak, or marble.

Paral

Paral was conceived by Inbani as the pursuit of a conclusion in the bathroom habitat. The pieces have a timeless character and very careful proportions, making them iconic.

Origin

It means the origin, the roots. Inbani refers to the Origin collection as the beginning of craftsmanship and industry through the different fabrication of wood, metal and glass…each one to perfectly establish each element

This perfect match of materials make the accessories and profiles stand out in the spaces where they coexist.  Giro is minimalist with a striking elegance.

Forma

Forma is a visual play on volumes and forms. The importance of the forms in the Forma collection is what precisely gives it its name. The washbasins have organic shapes and contrasts with the geometric forms in the furniture collection.

Arc

The Arc collection derives from the neoclassical architecture, an inspiration where arches and vaults often became a key element in the structural design.
