FORMANI, a Dutch company, began its journey in the early 1980s as a small-scale producer of high-end door hardware. Unique Designs + Concepts

The FORMANI collections consists of 18 unique hardware design series. Each series forms a complete concept consisting of door hardware, window hardware, cabinet hardware, and additional accessories.

View Collections

ONE
ONE by Piet Boon is an iconic hardware series with the cylindrical volume forming its core. With clean lines and high-quality finish, the series embodies beauty + refinement.

ECLIPSE
The ECLIPSE series by David Rockwell is where simplicity meets innovation. The iconic silhouette is a cylindrical form with a curved, carved channel—an inflection point that perfectly meets the hand’s grasp. Simple, sculptural tooling offers both a square and round return option for a distinctive profile.

INC
The INC series by Piet Boon features smooth curves and an excellent grip. The hardware took shape after flattening the circle and tapering the end. With a handle that has a smooth inclination, to which the series INC is named.

RIVIO
The RIVIO series by Gensler was based on the transition from something lighter to something more solid, allowing for the thumb and fingers to engage in a uniquely comfortable way. The handle is offered in two variants, with either a curve or a 90-degree angle leading to the neck and rose.

ARC
ARC by Piet Boon follows clean lines, geometric shapes and a no-nonsense appeal. The silhouette is divided by a cylinder volume exactly half, which gives the handle its flat side and arc side, after which the series is named.

TENSE
TENSE by Bertram Beerbaum is designed with a clean aesthetic that is both robust and chic. The core element of the series is the cylindrical neck to which each rectangular lever is connected in its own unique way.

The FORMANI products provide a comprehensive solution to architectural hardware, with total concepts that cover door hardware, window fittings, furniture hardware, and various accessories. By having a complete production selection, it allows for consistency throughout the project and ensures cohesion of the design elements.

The lead time for FORMANI varies on product and finish selection, but on average it is a four-week lead time.

FORMANI products are available in various premium finishes and colors.  Some options include brushed or polished stainless steel, powder coat colors, PVD coating and classical brass or nickel.

As an Authorized Dealer for FORMANI, we are happy to work with you to provide technical drawings in both 3D and 2D.  Most products come with DWG files (#3D models and #BIM) and assembly instructions.
