FORMANI Debuts at WestEdge, Showcasing RIVIO CA Lever and Launching Partnership with Specialty Hardware + Plumbing

As one of the most popular design trade shows in Los Angeles, WestEdge Design Fair brings together artists, designers, architects and collaborators in the industry. The three-day event offers the best in modern design, with product displays, panels and networking to discover what is new and trending.

Taking place in the fall of 2024, WestEdge was held at the iconic Santa Monica Barker Hangar. As an exhibitor for FORMANI, we were proud to present door hardware by top designers:

Dutch door hardware brand FORMANI made an impressive debut at the West Edge Design Fair in Santa Monica, a three-day event featuring the best in modern design. The event also celebrated the launch of an exciting new partnership with Specialty Hardware + Plumbing, the exclusive distributor of FORMANI products in Southern California.

The West Edge Design Fair, a premier gathering of designers, architects, and developers, provided the perfect platform for FORMANI to unveil its RIVIO CA lever from product design consultant, Gensler. The lever also showcased the new PVD light bronze finish. The RIVIO collection epitomizes FORMANI’S commitment to design innovation, functionality, and sustainability, offering a comprehensive Total Project solution that redefines architectural hardware.

“Transition” served as the guiding principle for the RIVIO collection, shaping every component from lever handles to knobs, pulls, and even window trim, in keeping with FORMANI’S focus on Total Project Solutions in their collections.

Visitors to the RIVIO display were especially drawn to the RIVIO California lever, which, unlike almost any lever that tries to meet the state’s building code requirement for a return, is actually a stunner on its own terms. It combines ergonomic precision with a dynamic sculptural form. The extended curved design provides ample room for the hand, creating an effortless and elegant user experience..

Meticulously fabricated using advanced techniques such as bending, carving, milling, and superior finishing, the RIVIO lever is designed to excel in aesthetics, ergonomics, and durability while maintaining the highest safety standards.

• Durability: Available in four premium finishes, including satin stainless steel, PVD satin black, satin gold, and powder-coated bronze.
• Compliance: Meets California’s building code for lever return to within 1/2″ of the door surface.
• Versatility: Supports both commercial and residential projects, with options including Grade 1 mortise locks, multipoint locks, and tubular locks.
