Start with the basin and faucet together

Choose the faucet configuration while you are developing the vanity design. AYLA includes wall-mounted and deck-mounted basin options, giving you several ways to relate the fittings to the counter and backsplash.

A wall-mounted arrangement can leave more of the counter surface open. A deck-mounted arrangement places the faucet within the vanity composition. In either case, review the spout reach and outlet position against the actual basin dimensions before finalizing the selection.

For a double vanity, consider the spacing of the mirrors, basins and fittings as one composition. These relationships will influence how the finished room feels as much as the individual pieces.

Plan the shower and bath at the same time

AYLA extends beyond the washbasin, with shower and bathtub configurations that allow the design language to continue across the room. Identify the outlets and controls you want before your installer begins rough-in work.

Give the details room to work

AYLA’s geometry lends itself to a restrained material palette. Consider how the fixture sits against the scale of the tile, the edge of the countertop and the profile of the mirror. A full-size sample board is useful for checking those relationships before materials are ordered.
