COCOON Basin by Piet Boon – Various Size Options:
First, you select the size based on different measurements of width. Then you choose how tall you want the basin to to be. Depending on your size preference, you have the option of selecting “micro”, “compact” and “wide” basins with various planks (planchets) on either side or setting in the back of the sink.
Keep in mind, this is for the basin only. The retail prices on the COCOON website reflect the basin as a starting point. They can be a floating basin if you don’t need storage, or you can add a cabinet, which we’ll cover in the next steps.
The PB Basin has a gradual slope that leads to underneath the middle bridge, where the drain is located. It is easy access to the drain by just popping up the bridge area, so you can clean underneath it.
The COCOON PB Basin
This washbasin sink was designed by Piet Boon; available in a selection of natural stone or solid surface materials and comes with matching drain. They are individually made – custom with your choice of material and a right/left or back recessed plank.
If you like the look of the floating basin (without the cabinets sitting underneath), but do not want to see the plumbing (p-trap), you should order as a height of 400 or 900mm.
For the COCOON wash basin, there is a variety of natural stone colors that are sourced from quarries in Italy, Spain and Turkey. They range in price, depending on if they are a premier stone to primary stone and solid surface material.

The solid surface material used for the COCOON basins, tubs, and bowls is a mix of quartz with other raw materials that results in a hard and resilient solid surface. This material is also known as “Corian”, “LG Hi Macs” and “Silestone”.
Create the look of a COCOON Boutique Bathroom with a Vanity by Ordering a PB Basin + PB Cabinet
While it may be nice to have a show-stopper COCOON floating marble basin in the powder room, most people need to add drawers to their bathroom vanity. If this is the case, then you need to complete the set of a COCOON PB Basin with a COCOON PB Cabinet.
The bespoke COCOON basin cabinets were designed by Piet Boon to complement the washbasin and add extra space for storage.
These are completely customizable and individually constructed with stone and natural wood for a soft-close drawer system in 45-degree mitred finishing. They can come in two drawers or one, with a variety of sizes to match the basin. If you are pricing the cabinet on the COCOON website, please note it will adjust by stone, size, and additional cabinet to the stand-alone basin.
