FORMANI ELEEZ by Zaha Hadid Design: Sculptural Door Hardware

Door hardware is an architectural detail we experience through touch every day. With ELEEZ, Zaha Hadid Design and FORMANI give that familiar interaction a distinctive sculptural form.

For homeowners, architects and interior designers looking for luxury door hardware, ELEEZ offers an expressive finishing detail. Its flowing geometry creates visual interest while keeping the experience of using the handle central to the design.

At Specialty Hardware + Plumbing, we help clients explore FORMANI collections, compare finishes and select hardware for their projects through our Beverly Hills showroom.  >>Request a free sample of Formani ELEEZ<<

The Design Behind ELEEZ

ELEEZ takes inspiration from the spiraling lines of a helix. A curved detail carved into the handle’s cylindrical surface introduces movement, creating changing highlights and shadows as light travels across it.

Solid Set Internal Lift-Up Sliding Door Handle

The result is a handle with a substantial form and an inviting grip. On a simple door, that sculptural detail can become a focal point. Within a more expressive interior, it offers another opportunity to connect shape, texture and material.

When selecting a lever, consider its proportions against the door and how it feels in your hand. Those everyday qualities deserve as much attention as the finish.

Six Finishes for Different Interior Palettes

FORMANI offers ELEEZ in six finishes:

• Satin stainless steel
• Bronze
• PVD satin black
• PVD satin gold
• PVD light bronze
• PVD champagne

These choices allow you to explore different relationships with your doors, cabinetry and lighting. A darker finish can create definition against a pale door, while a warmer metallic tone can complement wood and natural stone.

Compare physical finish samples alongside your other materials before making a final selection. Similar finish names across different manufacturers can have noticeably different tones.

A Coordinated Architectural Hardware Collection

ELEEZ extends beyond the door lever, with a collection encompassing door fittings, window fittings, furniture fittings and accessories.

That broader approach helps designers carry a consistent visual language through a home. Review the available pieces early, including the functions and finishes required for each location, so the hardware specification develops alongside the interior design.

Our team can help you review the appropriate components and their compatibility with your doors and locking systems.

The Zaha Hadid Design Connection

Zaha Hadid’s architectural legacy is associated with fluid geometry and an exploration of movement and space. Zaha Hadid Design carries that approach into objects, translating architectural ideas into products experienced at a more intimate scale.

ELEEZ expresses that connection through its curved surfaces and attention to touch. The collection received an iF DESIGN AWARD in 2026, recognizing its design and reinforcing its place within contemporary architectural hardware.
