I Ching

Award-Winning Design
Designed by Elisa Ossino, I Ching by TUBES has won numerous design awards, including Archiproducts, reddot “best of the best”, The Plan Award, Design Index ADI and iF Design Award.
Elisa Ossino is an Italian architect and designer whose work moves gracefully between architecture, interior design, product design, and art direction. Originally from Sicily, she studied at the Politecnico di Milano, where she developed the geometric precision and poetic minimalism that define her style.
In 2006, she founded Elisa Ossino Studio in Milan, focusing on residential and retail interiors, product design, art direction, and set design. Her approach blends geometric abstraction, monochromatic palettes, and metaphysical references, resulting in spaces that feel both rigorous and ethereal. Ossino’s projects often evoke a sense of suspension and lightness, balancing essential lines and sculptural geometry with a strong scenographic quality. Her work explores the emotional and spatial relationship between light, form, and material, giving each project a distinct atmosphere of calm and contemplation.
Elisa’s designs have been widely published and exhibited internationally, including at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan as part of “W–Women in Italian Design” (2016). She has earned multiple honors, such as the EDIDA 2020 – Elle Deco International Design Award for Best Bathroom with her Balnea collection for Salvatori, and she has been named among AD’s Top 100 Interior Designers.

Through her refined sensibility and poetic minimalism, Elisa Ossino continues to shape contemporary Italian design—merging architecture, art, and atmosphere into a single, expressive language. The I Ching by TUBES collection reflects her signature balance of geometry, lightness, and spatial harmony.
I Ching by TUBES Radiatori
The I Ching towel warmer by Tubes Radiatori is a refined expression of minimalist design—an object that blurs the boundary between function and art. Conceived by architect and designer Elisa Ossino, I Ching embodies her signature style of geometric balance and poetic restraint, transforming a simple heating element into an architectural composition of line and space.
Inspired by the ancient Chinese text from which it takes its name, I Ching explores the theme of duality and order through two slender, parallel bars that can be mounted horizontally or vertically. This flexible orientation allows designers to create balanced or rhythmic installations, adapting to both compact bathrooms and expansive wellness suites. The result is a striking yet subtle visual statement—essential and sculptural, yet quietly luxurious.
Crafted from high-quality carbon steel, I Ching is available in a wide selection of Tubes finishes, including over 140 RAL colors and special metallic or matte textures. Its understated design allows it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior styles—from contemporary minimalism to timeless Italian modernism.
Function meets elegance through advanced engineering. I Ching is available in hydronic or electric versions and can be equipped with a manual switch, remote thermostat, or smart home automation control. Each bar radiates gentle, even warmth—perfect for towels, robes, or simply enhancing ambient comfort.
With I Ching, Elisa Ossino and Tubes Radiatori reimagine the concept of the towel warmer. It is not just a heating fixture, but a design element that embodies balance, proportion, and serenity—hallmarks of Italian craftsmanship and contemporary design.
