GIOTTO

Designed by Natalino Malasorti

The GIOTTO taps collection by CEA Design are made from AISI 316L stainless steel and available with progressive mixers, dual handles and thermostatic mixers.

Inspired by the pure forms of the circle, GIOTTO was designed by CEA co-founder, Malasorti, to ensure maximum compositional freedom with aesthetic and functional consistency. The collection offers a wide choice of remote controls, CEA shower sets, and endless combinations with the FREE IDEAS outlets, including spouts, shower heads and hand showers to complete your bathroom design.

The finish options for the GIOTTO collection expand from the standard finishes of satin and polished stainless steel, to the special finishes of Black Diamond, Copper, Bronze and  Light Gold.  They also include four different wood essences to personalize tap handles, which are Canaletto Walnut, Burma Teak, Oak and Wenge.  You can also find complementary accessories within the GIOTTO accessory line.

Lutezia

Designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte

The Lutezia and Lutezia Plus collections by CEA are classically inspired with taps made from stainless steel and available with dual handles and thermostatic mixers. Jean-Michel Wilmotte designed the bathware taps exclusively for the Hotel Lutetia in Paris.  The features were born as a contemporary interpretation of the traditional hydraulic valve of the early twentieth century and combine aesthetic refinement with comfort of use.

CROSS

As a reinterpretation of the Greek cross, the CROSS collection by CEA is characterized by the forging of the handle. The unique and tapered body of the handle ends at the upper part into a surface that is coplanar to the one that carries it, giving linearity and cleanliness to the design. CROSS, while requiring sophisticated processing, guarantees the user a particular ergonomics.

DUET

Designed by Mario Tessarollo and Daniela Lorato

The circle/square dualism that characterize the DUET collection is emphasized by the satin finish of the circle that constitutes the tap handle, and by the polished finish of the square detail. The glossy square, set in the handle, gives the product three-dimensionality and preciousness. The refined design of DUET has been worth the ornamental model.

FLAG

The FLAG taps are characterized by the forging of the handle rigorously made on a lathe with numerical control machines. The unique and tapered body of the handle ends at the upper part into a surface that is coplanar to the one that carries it, giving linearity and cleanliness to the design. FLAG, while requiring sophisticated processing, guarantees the user a particular ergonomics.

NEUTRA

Designed by Giulio Gianturco

Winner of the ADI Design Codex Award, the Neutra collection features taps and bath accessories made in AISI 316-L stainless steel. The products are characterized by the golden proportion between the length and the width of the dual handle mixer. NEUTRA boasts a rigorous and timeless design.

INNOVO

Designed by Natalino Malasorti

Characterized by the 30 mm diameter cylindrical body, INNOVO represents an evolution of traditional design. Lightened and made thinner, INNOVO stands out for its absolute elegance, embellished by a particularly ergonomic handle, made with a laser cutting technique. Innovative the washbasin spout of the single-hole mixer, which by turning on itself reduces the flow rate, allowing the user to drink or rinse his teeth with extreme simplicity: it is a utility model.

CARTESIO

Designed by CMP Design Studio

Where stainless is more, the Cartesio collection from CEA offers perpendicular segments that branch off into space with sharp changes of direction and movement around the axis.  The tap is made of a 30 mm diameter, 316 marine-grade stainless steel and is designed for maximum functionality. The mixer is placed in the appendix, a distance from the stem of the tap. With this design, it is possible to handle it without interfering with the water flow.

MILO360

Designed by CEADESIGN Studio

Created to satisfy every possible design requirement, MILO360 represents the iconic product with a sixties design, a transversal interpreter of modern taps and fittings systems. The particularly sober cylindrical shape adapts to any type of architecture.

SIXTY

Designed by Belgium Architect, Glenn Sestig

CEADESIGN presents their newest collection, SIXTY, designed by award-winning architect, Sestig. The products of the SIXTY collection are a combination of high technological standards, met with absolute stylistic refinement. Inspired by an archetypal shape, the designs emerge from the extension of this and create an ergonomic and elegant geometry.

The collection, which is Glenn Sestig’s latest product collaboration, was named after his surname – whose pronunciation sounds like the word for ‘sixty’ in Flemish. The new bath line for CEA offers products carved in the highly refined shapes of his architectural studio with a nod to designs such as Holy Cake and the Tennessee lighting collection by Ozone.

The SIXTY project, a collection of taps and bathroom accessories are made from 100% stainless steel and presents an exclusive finish, called Black Ivory Satin.  The color is a reflection of the finest variety of coffee, a perfect union between materiality and tones of travertine titanium marble.

All CEA bathroom fixtures are made from AISI 316L stainless steel, which is an ecological friendly material, and are recyclable, hygienic, anti-bacterial, and resistant to limestone and salt. To keep the taps long-lasting, it is recommended to clean them on a regular basis using products specific to stainless steel.  Rinsing and drying is fundamental to prevent the formation of limestone deposits.

Do not use sanitizers, such as bleach, chlorides or non-ionic surfactants that could cause damage to the stainless steel.  Avoid bleach, ammonia, and aggressive detergents. Do not use scouring pads, or brushes, as these can scratch the surface and ruin the satin or polished finish.

The shower heads with silicon nozzles must be scrubbed regularly to break the deposit build-up inside and rinsed away to avoid damage.  It is recommended that after each use of your CEA shower head, incline them slightly to allow the release of extra water inside.  This minimizes the negative effects of related limescale build-up.  CEA also suggests the use of water softening installation or a whole-house filtration system.

  • Limescale deposits: Any dirt of debris in the aerator filters can be removed by dismounting the aerator with the appropriate key and submerging it in a vinegar solution for a few hours, and then rinse. If you need assistance with obtaining a key to unlock a CEA shower aerator, please reach out to Specialty Hardware + Plumbing.
  • Rust: Rust stains caused by prolonged contact of metal by water or a high percentage of iron, can be removed by gently rubbing the rust stain with a wet, soft cloth and non-abrasive mild cleanser. Rinse extensively and dry with cloth.
  • Scratches: The satin and polished stainless-steel finish by CEA can be restored with mechanical processing. It is recommended that if a scratch does occur, you have your products mechanically buffed by CEADESIGN directly.
  • Spare parts: CEA offers spare parts. You will want to make note of your original order and work with your distributor to access the correct spare parts.

CEA is an acronym for “Center of Alternative Energy”. The brand, which also goes by CEADESIGN and CEA Design, is an Italian brand of high-end kitchen faucets, modern bathroom fixtures, accessories, and ceiling fans.

CEA faucets are 100% made in Italy. The manufacturing facility is located in Northeast Italy, called Prove del Grappa.  They also have operations in Milan, Italy and Ghent, Belgium.  You can find CEA on-display at our Los Angeles showroom. All CEA Design kitchen faucets, bathroom fixtures and accessories are made from 100% stainless steel. They use AISI 316L marine-grade stainless steel for all their taps. It is very resistant to corrosion and durable for your kitchen, bathroom and outdoor use.

CEA Washbasins: offering a wide range of built-in, countertop and free-standing washbasins made in stainless steel, marble and solid surface materials. The CEA design washbasins can be combined with their faucet collections, or with the new ABACO system.  They are roomy, deep and the perfect solution for those who love essential aesthetics with pure shapes and practicality.

ABACO: CEA has developed a new design for the bathroom; a modular container that accommodates all the functions of the bathroom. The steel ABACO integrated modular system is hygienic, antibacterial, and an innovative product.

The CEADESIGN ABACO can be customized as a toilet module, countertop washbasin, drawer module, shower bench and decorative wall disc.  The CEA toilet has an Industrial Invention Patent by co-founder Natalino Malastori.  The module merges drain, flush and bidet functions in a stainless-steel piece with marble or wood finishes to allow for a more sculptural and refined style.

Hydroplate: CEA flush plate and valves for toilet flush systems: Made in AISI 316L stainless steel and available with water jet toilet cleaners, CEA makes flush plates options that are compatible with the U.S. market carriers, including Geberit and Grohe models.

Equilibrio – USA approved Electric Towel Warmers by CEA. The modular heated towel rails, made of AISI 304 stainless steel and powered by low-voltage electricity (24 Volt). It is available in two different lengths; 1’ – 10 53/64” and 3’ – 5 47/64” in accordance with project needs, EQUILIBRIO’s clean lines are a perfect fit for any domestic setting. The item can be installed both horizontally and vertically. The universal rough-in part determines the maximum modularity and/or repeatability. It is available with or without power button and each composition is combined with a dedicated power supply unit that supports up to 70 Watt and is connected to a single switch. EQUILIBRIO works with home automation systems.

Ventilation: CEA ceiling fans and lighting complements. The Ariachiara series by CEADESIGN is USA approved fans. A fan (diameter of 2100 mm or 1700 mm), operating at five speeds adjustable by means of the supplied remote control. The ceiling anchoring element, made of AISI 316L stainless steel satin or polished finish, contains the motor; while the three blades, particularly long and sinuous, are made of carbon fiber layers alternated to Oak wood or Canaletto Walnut sheets, available in natural finish, matt white or matt black lacquer. ARICHIARA can be used in a clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation.
ARIACHIARA combines multiple layers of air stratification with air purification, lighting and music. Purifying the air through an ionization and ozonation system means breaking down virus, bacteria, allergens, carbon monoxide (PM 2.5 and PM 10) and odors (e.g. smoke) from the environment, thus purifying the air you breathe and improving the sense of well-being. Ideal in environments of conviviality, ARIACHIARA was created to also perform the function of diffused light emitted by an LED system at 3000 Kelvin (natural daylight) and at the same time suffused, almost as a courtesy light, to support punctual lighting in the rooms. In light, it is also possible to combine music, always with a background function, designed to accompany every moment of relaxation. Light and audio system in Bluetooth mode are included in the ceiling light. The product range also includes lighting fixtures, with sound system and air purification included, to be added to the fan to complete the luminous and sound setting of the rooms (ARC10 and ARC11).
The ceiling fans of the ARIACHIARA collection have obtained the CB Certification, in accordance with European safety standards, and a Tropical Class T certificate which certifies their suitability for operation in environments with temperatures between 10 °C and 43 °C.
